Delete my account

This page explains how to request deletion of your REQ — DJ Requests account, published by DirtyLab, and what happens to your data.

1 · How to request deletion

Email contact@dirtylab.fr with the subject "Delete my REQ account", from the email address of your REQ account. That is how we confirm the request is yours.

You can also use the support form.

We acknowledge your request within 72 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days at the latest. Nothing else is required from you.

2 · What is deleted

  • Your account and sign-in credentials.
  • Your DJ profile: stage name, public slug, Instagram handle, profile image, minimum amount and preset amounts.
  • Your device notification token.
  • Your sessions and QR codes — links already in circulation stop working.
  • The link between your account and your Stripe Connect account.

3 · What is kept, and why

Request and payment records are kept for 10 years, the statutory accounting retention period in the European Union. We cannot erase them on request: it is an obligation, not a choice.

They are unlinked from your identity when your account is deleted: what remains is an amount, a date and a track title, no longer tied to an account.

Stripe separately retains payment data under its own regulatory obligations. REQ does not control that retention. To request its deletion, contact Stripe directly.

4 · Deleting some data without closing your account

That is possible. Email contact@dirtylab.fr stating what you want removed — your Instagram handle or your request history, for instance — and your account stays active.

You also have the right to access, rectify, port and restrict processing of your data, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. See our privacy policy.
